Jennifer Beetem is an emerging art conservator, artist, art historian and web designer. This portfolio was last thoroughly updated in 2021 and will relaunch in August 2022. Please be patient with display errors here as I experiment with display code and migrate content to the new website.
The climate crisis motivates me to pursue training in art conservation. My pre-program progress has included internships in the conservation of paper and photographs, objects conservation, objects, textiles, architectural materials, field conservation of archaeological materials and preventive conservation.
Jennifer Beetem makes art in many different media, including drawing, painting, printmaking, wood carving, basket weaving, and sewing. View selections from her screen printing portfolio here.
Jennifer Beetem earned her Art History MA from the University of Washington - Seattle. Her research areas include original prints, sculpture, artists’ writings, international modernism and modernist art periodicals, and the Bauhaus School. She enjoys bringing technology to art history in 3D visualizations and online exhibitions.
